Hisarcıklıoğlu requested a solution for passage fees from the Hungarian Prime Minister Orban
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and the delegation accompanying him attended a dinner with the representatives of the Turkish business community hosted by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Hungary is instrumental in the development and exports of the Turkish industry and went on to report that Turkey was subject to different fees. Hisarcıklıoğlu requested Orban’s support in solving this matter. Orban said, “I can promise to provide you with the best conditions.”

We must continue with structural reforms
The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, stating that Turkey will become one of the ten largest economies in the world in 2023, and said, “In order to achieve this we must continue with structural reforms.”

Tourism is the golden egg laying goose
During his speech at the TÜROFED General Assembly, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The tourism sector is the golden egg laying goose. Fed well enough, it will provide a lifetime’s worth of gold. We must give tourism its due.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu celebrated Trabzonspor's success in Europe
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu congratulated the Trabzonspor Football Club in regards to completing their group phase as leader in the European UEFA League. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated in his message that Trabzonspor is perpetuating its success in the past through hard work, effort and conviction on the path to the European cup.

Acquiring Hungary visas easier for the business community
A visa facilitation agreement has been signed between the EU Ministry and the Hungarian Embassy. With the attendance of the EU Minister and Head Negotiator Egemen Bağış, the agreement was signed by 36 chamber and exchange presidents. During the ceremony TOBB M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that visa procedures have been made easier for businessmen until the resolution of EU negotiations and that, as a result, trade between the two countries will increase as well.
