Malaysian Ambassador Amran Mohamed Zin visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office. Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment, Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed his wishes for the improvement and development of relations between the two countries.​

United Nations Turkey Resident Coordinator and United Nations Development Program Turkey Resident Representative Kamal Malhotra visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office. Approximately a year after assuming his post in Ankara, Malhotra presented his thanks to TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu for his cooperation with the United Nations.​

Attending the Board Meeting of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Tunisia, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu warned Islamic countries to take into consideration the new disposition of the world economy and prepare themselves accordingly while expressing that customs taxes, quotas and all such extra-tariff procedures must be eliminated among the Islamic countries.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the Turkish entrepreneurs active in Tunisia in an event hosted by the Turkish Embassy in Tunisia.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu congratulated Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO) and the Ankara Chamber of Industry (ASO) 2nd and 3rd Organized Industry Zones for receiving their authorization to hold exams and give certification by the Vocational Proficiency Institution following in the footsteps of the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ATSO) and ASO 1st OIZ.​

TOBB President and the Vice President of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, attended the ICCIA Board of Directors meeting held in Tunisia. Also attending the meeting were TOBB Board Members Necdet Özer and Selçuk Öztürk.​

In Tunisia for the General Assembly of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, ICC Tunisia National Committee President Ali Ben Yahya.​

In his statement following the March 30th, 2014, local elections, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said:​

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu accepted a delegation comprised of International Road Transport Union (IRU) Secretary General Umberto de Pretto, IRU Middle East and Regional Permanent Delegate Haydar Özkan and IRU Executive Council Member İzzet Salah visiting him at the office to exchange views regarding the road transportation sector.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu presented his well-wishes to the 40 chambers/exchanges of the 10th Accreditation Term.​
