World tourism sector met in İstanbul
Speaking at the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) City Tourism Global Summit, TOBB President and UNWTO Private Sector Board Chairman M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, emphasizing that the tourism sector in Turkey is a worldwide success, said, “We, the public administration and the private sector, have focused on 2023 and we plan to be in the top 5 for tourism.”

The name of our century is “Entrepreneurship”

World Bank Vice President Philippe le Houerou visited TOBB
The World Bank Vice President Philippe le Houerou and the World Bank Turkey Representative Martin Raiser visited TOBB. Attending the meeting wherein ideas regarding Turkey’s economy were exchanged was also attended by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, TOBB Vice President Yalçıntaş and TOBB Board Member Mustafa Boydak.

TOBB will construct a Science High School in Gaziantep
The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) will construct a 16 classroom science high school building and 200 capacity dormitory along with gym and teachers’ lodgings as per the protocol signed. Speaking during the ceremony, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the best way to design the future is to invest in education.

TOBB will construct a science high school in Kayseri
The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) will construct a 16 classroom science high school in Kayseri. Speaking at the signing ceremony for the protocol regarding the construction, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu put emphasis on the importance they put on education and stated that the strongest asset in the 21st century is an educated young population.

There weren’t even any English speaking personnel. Now our chambers speak English and create projects.”
