Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Exhibitions and exhibition centres based in Turkey shall be introduced to the world through “Exhibit in Turkey” projects in cooperation with TOBB Turkey Trade Fairs Sector Council and Ministry of Economy. ​

Plastic, Rubber and Composite Council of Turkey convened at TOBB Twin Towers under the chairmanship of Council Chairman Yavuz Eroğlu and participation of The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş for making sectoral evaluations and developing solution proposals. ​

The number of newly established companies, cooperatives and the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 23,40% , 32,10% , 26,63% with respect to the previous month.​

Within the studies of Accreditation System, on 17th-18th October 2017 ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System New Version Training given to accredited 11th Term Chambers/Exchanges before the Development Visit on November and December 2017. ​

Turkey-Kazakhstan Women Entrepreneurs Business Forum aiming for developing joint projects between Union of Chamber and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Women’s Initiatives Board and women entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan held. ​

Within the scope of Chambers/Exchanges Accreditation System works Process Management and Improvement Training provided for 13th Terms Chambers/Exchanges under ongoing accreditation processes on 12th-13th October 2017. ​

TOBB Board Accountant Member Üyesi Faik Yavuz attended “World Food Day” event organised at Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock with the support of United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the Union of Turkish Agricultural Chambers (TZOB).​

579 Domestic Goods Certificates as approved in September were issued as; 102 of them in Istanbul, 95 of them in Ankara, 94 of them in Tekirdağ, 67 of them in İzmir, 35 of them in Antalya, 31 of them in Kocaeli, 20 of them in Bursa, 16 of them in Konya, 13 of them in Kayseri, 11 of them in Adana.​

TOBB Glass and Glass Products Industry Council met up under the chairmanship of Council President Gizep Sayın and participation of senior representatives of private sector and non-governmental organisations.​

TOBB Turkey Petroleum and Petroleum Products Industry Council met up at TOBB Twin Towers under Council President Ahmet Erdem chairman and participation of TOBB Vice-Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş.​
