Launch and briefing meeting of the “Improving International Competitiveness in Prepackaged Food Sector” UR-GE project prepared by the Çanakkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry to increase the export capacity and competitive power of the companies in the food value chain in the TR22 Çanakkale and Balıkesir Region took place at ÇTSO Congress Exhibition Center. ​

The 34th meeting of the Turkish Defense Industry Council was held at the TOBB Union Center under the chairmanship of Council Chair Yılmaz Küçükseyhan in order to evaluate the sector in 2016 with the participation of Ministry officials and members of the council and to discuss the search for a new model for export for the sector.​

The number of newly established companies, cooperatives and the number of sole proprietorships decreased 3,07% , 2,13% , 10,64% with respect to the previous month.​

A delegation comprised of former Somali President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed and members of the Senate visited TOBB. During the visit hosted by Faik Yavuz, TOBB Board Treasurer, discussions on the development of cooperation and trade between the chambers of the two countries were discussed.​

As a part of the “Supervision of Geographical Markers” protocol signed between TOBB and TSE, the first inspection was carried out on the Çorum roasted chickpea, “leblebi,” the registered product of Çorum Commerce Commodity Exchange. ​

The TOBB Turkey Climate Control Council met its second meeting of the year prior the signing ceremony of the TOBB-MYK National Qualification Preparation Protocol.​

As a part of the “81 Academic Advisors to 81 Provinces” project started in 2014 by TOBB and TEPAV, it was decided at the Joint Meeting of Mardin Provincial Chambers and Exchanges that a research and analysis program would be organized aimed at Mardin Artuklu University (MAU) Department of Economics students.​

Mardin Artuklu University (MAU) and Mardin Artuklu University (MAU) in cooperation with the Mardin Municipality and the Chambers and Exchanges of the province (Kızıltepe Commodity Exchange, Kızıltepe Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mardin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nusaybin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nusaybin Chamber of Commerce and Industry) conducted a field study for the MAGROTEX-17.​
