The Corporate Development Training Program was completed with the thirteenth and last session held on 28th and 29th of April, 2017.​

The TOBB Arbitration Committee met for the second meeting of the year 2017. At the meeting, the issues on the Council’s agenda were discussed.​

TOBB and UNICEF hosted the ”Information on Child Rights and Business Principles Project” meeting on April 25th 2017 to inform participants about the definition, causes and consequences of child labor in the framework of international regulations and national legislation and to share the experiences and solution proposals of the participants on issues in this field.​

As a part of the 81 Academic Consultants in 81 Provinces project initiated by TOBB Board of Directors in order to improve the university-business community cooperation and to contribute to the local economy and development processes of chambers / exchanges, the first meeting of academic advisors who have been selected through consensus by chambers and exchanges has ended.​

TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board Marmara Regional Meeting was hosted at the Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry by TOBB Edirne Women Entrepreneurs Board President Elmas Aslan and board members.​

TOBB Turkey Telecommunications Council unanimously elected Secretary General of the Association of Free Telecommunication Operators (TELKODER) of Rıdvan Uğurlu as Telecommunications Council Chairman. During the council election meeting Chair of the Association of Turkish Informatics Industry (TUBİSAD) Kübra Erman Karaca was appointed Vice Chair.​

TOBB Board Member Yahya Toplu attended the Media Oscars Award Ceremony organized by the Radio and Television Journalists Association (RTGD).​

The first meeting of the new term of the Turkish Retail Council was held with the participation of high level representatives of the private sector and non-governmental organizations under the chairmanship of Council Chair Mehmet T. Nane.​

12th Institutional Development Program training was conducted with the attendance of 52 personnel from 20 Chambers and Commodity Exchange, TOBB and Vocational Qualification and Documentation Centers Inc. at the TOBB Twin Towers on April 21-22, 2017.​

TOBB Turkey Mining Council, under Council President Ismet Kasapoğlu, visited, Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs İbrahim Çiftçi.​
