TOBB Vice Chairman Halim Mete attended the Turkey Image Campaign Press Launch held at the Çırağan Palace Mabeyn Hall under the auspices the of Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci.​

Representatives of the LPG sector TOBB Turkey came under the roof of the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Assembly and assessed the developments in the sector.​

TOBB Vice Chairman Halim Mete, speaking at the Turkish Arab Economic Forum, called on Arabs to invest more in Turkey, stating that the share of Turkey in the investments made by Islamic countries abroad is at a very low level.​

Vocational Education and Employment Mobilization, National Qualification System, MEYBEM A.Ş. “Employment Mobilization Information Meeting” was held at the Biga Chamber of Commerce and Industry in order to inform the participants about the introduction of examination and certification activities as well as employment incentives given by İŞKUR.​

Under the auspices of the Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Dr. Faruk ÖZLÜ, the Turkish Patent and Trademark Organization held the 1st National Geographical Markers Meeting.​

A protocol was signed between the Undersecretariat of Treasury and Credit Guarantee Fund Inc. (KGF) to facilitate SMEs’ and exporters’ access to finances. The protocol between the Treasury and KGF was signed by Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Şimşek, KGF Chairman Faik Yavuz and KGF General Manager İsmet Gergerli.​

As a part of the Capacity Experts Training Program organized by TOBB, on March 17th, 2017, 129 engineers of various branches from chambers were provided with capacity report expertise training.​

TOBB hosted a training session for the authorities of the Customs General Administration of the People's Republic of China, with the participation of the representatives of Ministry of Customs and Trade, the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications and IRU on the 13th and 14th of March, 2017 in to present the operation and applications of the TIR system, which we are the largest practitioners in the international arena.​

The number of newly established companies and sole proprietorships decreased by 10,61% and 25,41% respectively, while cooperatives increased by 1,54% according to the previous month. The number of closed companies, cooperatives and sole proprietorships decreased by 60,50%, 75,12% and 35,86% respectively according to the previous month.​

Members of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board participated in the lunch attended by the leading women in the business, arts and sports circles with Emine Erdoğan, the wife of the President of the Republic, hosting the event on March 14, 2017 at the Presidential Palace.​
