Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Turkish Jewelry Industry Council convened in Ankara to elect the Presidential Council and conduct a general evaluation of the sector.​

Turkey Earthen Industry Products Council Meeting was held in Ankara to elect the Council Chairmanship, presided over by Hakan Ülken, Member of the TOBB Board of Directors, as well as evaluating the state of the sector.​

The Turkish Education Council meeting took place with Council Chair Yusuf Ekinci presiding at the TOBB Twin Towers with the participation of high level representatives of the private sector and non-governmental organizations as well as National Education Ministry Education and Training Board Chairman Alpaslan Durmuş and National Education Ministry Private Schools Department Chief Mehmet Baran.​

Under the auspices of the Turkish Minister for Food, Agriculture and Livestock Faruk Celik and Azerbaijan Agriculture Minister Haydar Asadov, the Azerbaijan-Turkey Agriculture Forum was held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. During the Forum, TOBB was represented by TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz.​

The first step of the Project for Establishing the National Database of the Digital Tachograph Device and Digital Tachograph Cards and the Certification of the Domestic Digital Tachographs was initiated by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Digital Tachograph Research and Application Center (STAUM).​

A roundtable meeting on Immigrants and Socio-Economic Integration was held at the TOBB Social Facilities.​

Coordinated by TOBB, Group 2 training session for Chamber/Commodity Exchange personnel on “Intelligence in Foreign Trade” has been completed.​

The meeting of the Turkish Chemical Industry Council was held at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building, chaired by Council President Timur Erk.​

The number of newly established companies increased by 28,89% while, cooperatives and sole proprietorships decreased by 2,99 % and 1,58 %, respectively, according to the previous month.​

Turkish Energy Council paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the TGNA Industry, Commerce, Energy, Natural Resources, Information and Technology Commissioner Ziya Altunyaldız.​
