Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held business forums and bilateral business forums in the capitals of Tanzania, Mozambique and Madagascar as a part of his Eastern Africa tour. Selçuk Öztürk, a TOBB Member of the Board of Directors, attended the business forums.​

Turkish Technology Meetings organized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Turkish Economy Bank (TEB) and Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ATSO) were organized in Antalya by EticaretSEM. TOBB Board Member Bülent Karakuş also attended the meeting.​

The Accreditation Board, responsible for the execution of the Chamber / Commodity Exchange Accreditation System, convened under TOBB Vice Chairman Halim Mete.​

The number of Capacity Reports, 72,433 in 2015, decreased by 0.09% in 2016, totaling 72,369.​

The number of newly established companies decreased by 12,81%, and the number of cooperatives and sole proprietorships increased by 1,52% and 53,37% respectively, according to the previous month. ​

Ulfat Kadyrov, Uzbekistan's Ambassador to Ankara and Uzbekistan Trade and Investment Undersecretary Uchkun Khusanov met with Mustafa Saraçoz, Secretary General of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and Ali Emre Yurdakul, Deputy Secretary General, to exchange views on trade and economic cooperation between Turkey and Uzbekistan.​

Aimed at Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) staff, training sessions for “Urge Principles and Practices” were held on the 16th and 17th of January, 2017. ​

The “Institutional Development Program” training sessions aimed at the Union of Chambers and Exchange of Turkey (TOBB) staff started on 13-14 January 2017.​

The Turkish Software Council convened at the TOBB Istanbul Service Facility under the chairmanship of the Council Char Melek Bar Elmas.​

TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz attended the 22nd Ordinary General Assembly Gala Dinner of the MÜSİAD Ankara Branch. ​
