Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

TOBB Vice President Ender Yorgancılar participated in the “Vocational Proficiency in Business Life Workshop” organized by the Vocational Qualifications Authority (MYK) on 23-24 May 2017.​

“Cooperation Protocol for Ensuring Effective Participation in Standardization Activities” was signed between the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE). On behalf of TOBB, Board Member Bülent Karakuş attended the signing ceremony.​

Prior to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) 73rd General Assembly, TOBB’s commissions and committees were convened separately with the participation of members of TOBB Board of Directors.​

The number of newly established companies and cooperatives increased by 4,58% and %32,39 while the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 4,93% according to the previous month.​

The TOBB Turkey Trade Fairs Sector Council meeting was held at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building presided by Council Chairman Cihat Alagöz.​

The Road Transport Regulation Draft prepared by the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications to be substituted for the existing Road Transport Regulation was evaluated at a meeting hosted by TOBB by relevant institutions, organizations and private sector representatives. ​

TOBB Turkey Durables Consumer Goods Council held its April meeting at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building.​

On occasion of the Term Presidency, Turkey's Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (KEİ), the 2nd KEİ Agriculture Ministers Meeting was held in Istanbul.​

A Protocol on Cooperation in the Preparation of National Qualifications was signed between the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Vocational Qualifications Authority (MYK).​

As a part of the “81 Academic Advisors to 81 Provinces” Project carried out by TOBB/TEPAV since 2014, efforts are being made to increase the institutional capacities of Chambers/Exchanges in Mardin as well as increasing their contribution levels to regional development.​
