Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The number of newly established companies, cooperatives and the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 12,72%, 14,94%, 15,98% with respect to the previous month.​

TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz attended the 7th Ordinary General Assembly of the Central Association of Cattle Breeders in Turkey. ​

The joint meeting of TOBB Turkey Forestry Goods and TOBB Turkey Furniture Products Councils was held at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Şahin Bilgiç. High-level representatives of public, private and non-governmental organizations showed great interest in the meeting.​

TOBB Vice Chairman Halim Mete, speaking at the Informatics Sector Meeting, said that Science, Industry and Technology Minister Faruk Özlu has expressed that there is no alternative to a private sector-based growth model at every opportunity.​

In order to contribute to local development as a part of the “81 Academic Advisors to 81 Provinces” Project, which has been carried out since 2014 by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Aydin province Academic Advisor Prof. Dr. Fatma Neval Genç moderated the meeting of the Aydın’s provincial chambers and exchanges.​

Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Vocational Qualifications Authority (MYK) National Qualifications for Preparation for the Earthenware Sector Employment Protocol of Cooperation was signed. Attending the signing ceremony held at TOBB were TOBB Board Member Hakan Ülken and MYK Chair Adem Ceylan.​

As a part of the “81 Academic Advisors to 81 Provinces” project conducted by TOBB / TEPAV, local development activities in Mardin are continuing with the participation of all chambers / exchanges.​

According to the Communiqué on Domestic Goods (SGM 2014/35) prepared by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118 in accordance with Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734, 504 Certificates of Domestic Goods were approved by Chambers and Exchanges in July​

TOBB Turkey Mining Council meeting was held with the attendances of Science Industry and Technology Minister Faruk Ozlu and TOBB Board Member Şahin Bilgiç.​

As a part of the “81 Academic Advisors to 81 Provinces” Project carried out by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Mardin Provincial and District Chambers/Commodity Exchange Joint Project Team met with Dicle Development Agency (DIKA) experts to increase institutional capacity and contribute to local development.​
