Hisarcıklıoğlu celebrates March 14th Medicine Day
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his March 14th Medicine Day that all humanity is indebted to the practitioners of the medical profession. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We can never repay doctors and medical sector workers who serve humanity with their accumulated experience and knowledge gained through hard work from studying night and day.”

TOBB’s important visit to Iran which had its international embargo lifted
Stating that Iran is both our neighbor and natural trade partner, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The most recent change which draws attention in Tehran is the abundance of foreign delegations. It is impossible to book hotels. When we were there, delegations from Italy, Romania and Australia were also present in the city.” The visit, which proved positive, also received a message that, “We must work together,” from Iran.

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Gebze has a population of 350,000 with a registered employed population of 310,000. This is extraordinary, there is no other city like it in Turkey.”

“Marketing to CERN is playing on the Champions League”
The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Per capita income is presently around 10,000 USD. If we want to increase this number, if we want to bring it up to 25,000, we must turn to high tech products. That depends on being able to do business with places like CERN and nuclear plants.”
