TOBB will construct a Anatolian High School Complex in Batman

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) will construct a 16 classroom Anatolian High School building, a 200 capacity Student Dorm as well as a Sports Gym. The protocol regarding the construction was signed between TOBB and the Batman Governorship, attended by the TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the Treasury Minister Mehmet Şimşek.​ ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the implementation regarding the employment incentives of the law #5084 regarding ‘Investment and Employment Incentives’ needs to have its duration extended and said, “There is a great demand among SMEs in Anatolia to have this implementation extended, otherwise it will end on the 31st of December, 2012.”​ ​

Speaking at the 2012 Gaziantep’s Stars Award Ceremony, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that there are those who question the work of the chambers and replied, “The Turkish Trade Law would have entered into effect in July. If it were to pass in the state it was before there would have been a yearly burden of 6 billion TL on our shoulders. It would have been more noticeable if it had happened then had been cancelled afterwards. They ask what the chambers do. My 365 chambers have worked to an extraordinary extent to protect your rights. They identified your burdens and demanded they be removed. With the support of the government and political parties, these were lifted. The worst of it was that we couldn’t get away if we paid the fines. Eighteen instances of prison sentences have been removed. You’ve gotten your subscriptions’ worth back many times over, just so you know.”​ ​

Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the opening of the new service building of the Gaziantep Chamber of Industry

The new service building of the Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce (GSO) was opened with a ceremony attended by the TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan and the Minister for Family and Social Policy, Fatma Şahin. Kayseri will become a Davos with winter tourism

Attending the “Industry Chamber 2012” Award Ceremony organized by the Kayseri Chamber of Industry, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Kayseri is a candidate to be the next Davos with its winter tourism and asked for support to this end. The Minister of Youth and Sports, Suat Kılıç declared full support for Kayseri’s Davos goal.​ ​
