Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Speaking at the Turkish Arab Economic Forum, TOBB President and ICCIA (Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture) Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stressed the fact that the world is undergoing an important transformation, “This transformation process must be turned into grace and shared profit by us.” Urging that obstacles to commerce, beginning with visas, be eliminated, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Not just between Turkey and the Arab League, but liberalization must take place among the whole Islamic world.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu gave his assessment of the Turkish economy at the consultation and review meeting held by the ASO 1st Organized Industry Zone administration.​

Turkey needs a new economic model that focuses on technological transformation, women’s participation in the workforce, and increasing entrepreneurship, stated the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. ​

Speaking at the Stars of Sakarya Award Ceremony held by the Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SATSO), TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu compared Sakarya and Kayseri, saying, “If 5 prayers a day is mandatory for those of us from Kayseri, Sakarya ought to have an additional 5 just to show how thankful they are for all you have.”​

Domestic Product Certification Introductory Meeting was held with the attendances of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Minister for Science, Industry and Technology Fikri Işık, Bursa Governor Münir Karaloğlu and many guests at the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Leaders of the Business World Award Ceremony hosted by the Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry and said in his speech. “There will be two types of cheques in circulation. One will be the regular cheque while the other will be a QR coded cheque. QR coded cheques will allow you to view the transaction history of the person or establishment issuing the cheque, enabling you to conduct safer commerce.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu welcomed the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Environment and Natural Resources Minister Dr. Hakan and his delegation at the Union Center.​

Visiting the Mersin Commodity Exchange, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Anatolia is the birth place of the stock exchange and that they will not be satisfied with what has been achieved, but instead, aim higher and better.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the opening ceremonies of the Tarsus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Tarsus Commodity Exchange, visiting the chamber and exchange as well as attending their tax award ceremonies.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Mersin Governor Özdemir Çakacak and Mayor Burhanettin Kocamaz at their offices.​
