TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the award ceremony for the members of the Bandırma Commodity Exchange who performed extraordinarily in 2012-2013-2014, stating that economy of Bandırma is livelier than many other places.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Bandırma Commodity Exchange and attended the launch of the Electronic Hall System, participating in a mock tender with the Food, Agriculture and Livestock Deputy Minister Mehmet Danış.​

Speaking at the joint meeting for the foundation laying of the Çanakkale TOBB Social Sciences High School, Stars of the Economy – Çanakkale Awards and ÇTSO Ottoman Documentation Maritime Trade book launch, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stressed the importance of unity and solidarity, “We all must aim for the same spot. If we all aim for it, we can achieve it.”​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Gönen Chamber of Commerce and the Gönen Commodity Exchange. Hisarcıklıoğlu also toured the Livestock Market of the Exchange. The TOBB President said, “No matter how strong you are, you are doomed to fail if your economy is weak; if you have no entrepreneurs. That is why entrepreneurship matters.”​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Çanakkale Governor Hamza Erkal. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they are visiting for two propitious deeds.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Minister for Family and Social Policies Rema Ramazanoğlu at her office and extended his well wishes for her term as minister. ​

In accordance with the work underway by the Ministry of Labor, 40 fields of occupation will require occupational proficiency certificates. This practice will enter into effect on May 25th, 2016. The system will be implemented for hazardous occupations without bringing additional costs to employers and employees. All examination costs will be compensated by the government.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed his hopes that the new year will bring everyone peace; that tears and violence will be replaced with peace and solidarity, “I believe that reforms in the economy will enable Turkey’s star to shine once again in 2016.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated in his condolatory message for the Chief Editor of Yeni Akit Gazette Hasan Karakaya who lost his life in Medina, stating that the Turkish press has lost one of its prominent writers.​

In a condolatory message regarding the passing of a former Deputy Prime Minister, Ekrem Pakdemirli, who also served as Minister of Transportation, Treasury, Customs and State, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Pakdemirli is a big name in Turkish politics, “Mr. Ekrem Pakdemirli leaves behind a name and many services which will not be forgotten. We grieve deeply for his loss.”​
