Realities of economy not reflected by rating organization appraisals
Answering questions from Anadolu Agency, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, in regards to credit grade reduction by Moody’s, “It is clear that the realities of the economy are not reflected by rating organization appraisals. We’ve gained significant ground for the improvement of the business and investment ecosystem in our work with the public administration. I believe that these efforts will soon bear fruit and Turkey will regain its rapid growth rates.”

Showcase opportunity for rapidly growing companies
The Turkey 100 competition provides opportunity to the fastest growing companies in Turkey to increase visibility and develop international ties. The last day of application for the competition is October 15th. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu urged entrepreneurs, “If your company grew rapidly in 2012-2015, if you want to turn your face to the world and to open up to new markets, apply to Turkey 100. Take your place among the stars of the world.”

Information exchange in Russia in regards to projects and cooperation
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the delegation accompanying him met with Russia's Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Victor Evtuhov and his delegation in Moscow. While the TOBB President provided information regarding the issues facing Turkish companies, Evtuhov drew attention to the need for steps to be taken by both sides in order to achieve normalization between the two countries.

We want to develop relations with Russian industrialists and entrepreneurs
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with a business delegation, met with Russian First Deputy Minister of Economic Development Alexey Likhachev. In a statement following the meeting which took place in Moscow, Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin may visit Turkey in October, “We anticipate that pioneering projects such as Turkish Flow will be discussed in addition to lifting limitations imposed on Turkish businessmen.”

Praise for Turkish private sector from ICCIA President Kamel touring Konya with Hisarcıklıoğlu
TOBB President and Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA) Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in Konya for the 24th ICCIA Board Meeting, visited the Konya OIZ, Konya Commodity Exchange and Karatay University along with ICCIA President Sheikh Saleh Kamel and ICCIA Board Members. Kamel praised the effectiveness of the Turkish private sector, stating that it should provide an example to other Islamic countries.
