TOBB president and EUROCHAMBRES Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) TRNC Chamber of Commerce Chair Fikri Toros in Brussels, Belgium.​

TOBB president and EUROCHAMBRES Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the investment meeting held at the Serbian Embassy in Brussels as a part of his Brussels visit.​

In his address at the “Developing Competitiveness of SMEs in Turkey and the Western Balkans” Conference held by TOBB and EUROCHAMBRES in Brussels, TOBB President and EUROCHAMBRES Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the importance of SMEs in establishing peace and prosperity in a country.​

TOBB – MEYBEM Vocational Proficiency and Certification Centers are continuing to provide certification services for skilled workers in the sectors of construction, metalworking and elevator construction in 81 provinces.​

The second Power of the Future: Entrepreneurs G3 Forum which brings entrepreneur candidates and Turkey’s prominent businesspeople was held in Trabzon.​

The closing of TOBB Startup İstanbul was held at the Volkswagen Arena with the attendances of a thousand entrepreneurs from 63 countries. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “TOBB Startup İstanbul is the first step towards making Istanbul a global entrepreneurship hub. Entrepreneurship is neither a science, nor an art. It is a practice.”​

TOBB President and M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and TOBB Board Vice President İbrahim Çağlar met with Atlantic Council Chair and CEO Frederick Kempe in İstanbul.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the newly appointed Ankara Governor Ercan Topaca at his office to extend his well wishes.​

The 9th Turkey Commerce and Industry Summit was hosted by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, presided over by Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım and attended by Deputy Prime Minister Nurettin Canikli, Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci, Customs and Commerce Minister Bülent Tüfenkci, Food, Agriculture and Livestock Minister Faruk Çelik as well as the board and council chairs of 365 chambers of commerce and commodity exchanges at the TOBB Conference Hall.​
