Turkey-EU High Level Economy Dialogue Private Sector Business Supper was hosted by TOBB President and EUROCHAMBRES Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at the İstanbul Hilton.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the opening ceremony of the EXPO 2016 Antalya International Gardening Exposition which will remain open for 6 months in Antalya.​

In his press release regarding the April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We are grateful to the Veteran, Mustafa Kemal, and his veteran brothers in arms and our martyrs for the pride we feel today. National sovereignty is the most beautiful herald of a beautiful future. A country makes the best decision to entrust its future to the conscience and verdicts of its people. This trust is given to our children. Both this day and our future is the twinkle in their eyes.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received the Yenişehir Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board Chair OrhanTorun, Council Chair Salih Hoşgönül and the delegation accompanying them.​

The healthcare sector was discussed during the workshop held in cooperation of TOBB and the US Chamber of Commerce. Speaking at the meeting held at the TOBB Twin Towers and attended by Health Minister Mehmet Müezzinoğlu and representatives of private and public sectors, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out the importance of relations with the USA and Turkey becoming a party to the TTIP to be signed between the USA and the EU would facilitate finding solutions to issues as well as developing trade.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Kyrgyzstan on the invitation of the President of Kyrgyzstan, Almazbek Atambayev.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the second ministry-level meeting held during the 64th government of the Coordination Council for Improvement of Investment Environment in Turkey (YOİKK).​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received the Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chair Tahsin Becan and the delegation accompanying him.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with National Defense Minister İsmet Yılmaz. ​

During the meeting attended by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and Food, Agriculture and Livestock Minister Faruk Çelik issues regarding bakeries and bread were discussed.​
