Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Board of Fairs of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) convened at the Union headquarters, chaired by TOBB Board Member Salih Zeki Murzioğlu. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz stressed that education is a matter which focuses on the future, not the past or the present, and said, “Today's decision will affect not only today, but future decades.”​

On December 12, 2019, a delegation of members of the Kazakhstani press visited Turkey and met with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz, and received information about the work of TOBB and the Chamber system in Turkey. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Member Hakan Ülken attended the 3rd Meeting of the Vocational Qualifications Authority (MYK) Vocational Qualifications Workshop.​

TOBB Turkey Glass and Glass Products Industrial Assembly Meeting was held under the chairmanship of TOBB Vice Chairman Ayhan Zeytinoğlu and Council President Gizep Sayın at the Istanbul Service Building with the participation of senior representatives of the private sector and non-governmental organizations. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Council held its last meeting of 2019 at the TOBB Twin Towers. TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay and TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş attended the meeting, where Zeynep Erkunt Armağan, Chairwoman of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council, provided information regarding the activities of the Council planned for 2020. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board of Directors Member Mahmut Özgener attended the “2019 Silk Road Business Summit” organized by the Silk Road International Chamber of Commerce (SRCIC).​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Petroleum and Petroleum Products Industry Council convened at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building with the contributions and participation of the council members, chaired by TOBB Board of Directors Member Engin Yeşil and Council President Ahmet Erdem. ​

Turkey Climate Control Council held its last meeting of 2019 in Istanbul with the participation of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board of Directors Vice President Selçuk Öztürk. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board of Directors Member Ömer Zeydan attended the opening of the Turkish Cooperatives Fair organized by the Trade Ministry General Directorate of Tradesmen, Artisans and Cooperatives at the ATO Congresium. ​
