Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Meeting of the Turkey Venture Capital Council was held at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building with the participation of council members, chaired by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board of Directors Member Mehmet Büyüksimitçi and Council President Göktekin Dinçerler. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board of Directors Member Özturk Oran, attended the Turkey 2023 Summit held at Lütfi Kırdar Congress and Exhibition Palace with the participation of Minister of Environment and Urban Development Murat Kurum. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Court of Arbitration convened at TOBB headquarters. At the meeting, the issues on the agenda of the Court were evaluated. ​

TOBB Turkey's Energy Council visited Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Dönmez and Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Abdullah Tancan. TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç, Parliament Speaker İhsan Akyol, Deputy Speaker of the Assembly Gökmen Topuz and TOBB officials attended the visit to hold consultation in regards to the problems of the sector and engaged in an exchange of views. ​

The 33rd Conference of the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) took place in Dhaka, Bangladesh on November 26th and 27th.​

The Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Vice President Salih Zeki Murzioğlu participated in the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women at the Presidential Congress and Culture Center with the participation of Emine Erdoğan, wife of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. ​

The first General Assembly of the Coordination Committee on Trade Facilitation was held on November 25th, 2019, at the Ministry of Commerce. The meeting was attended by Zeki Kıvanç, member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). ​

Selçuk Öztürk, Vice President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), along with the Republic of Turkey Vice President Fuat Oktay attended the Turkey-Kyrgyzstan 9th Joint Economic Commission Meeting chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov. ​

Özturk Oran, member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), attended the 25th Meeting of the Tabriz Chamber of Commerce on November 20, 2019. He gave a speech by attending the National Non-Oil Export Development Forum.​

The number of newly established companies, the number of sole proprietorships and the number of cooperatives increased by 8,52% , 9,96% and 2,75% respectively according to the previous month. The number of closed companies, the number of closed cooperatives and the number of closed sole proprietorships increased by 2,92% , 7,35% and 10,05% respectively according to the previous month.​
