Turkey Air Conditioning Council’s third meeting of the year evaluating the various topics of the sector, took place with the participation of TOBB Vice President Selçuk Öztürk. The main agenda of the meeting focused on “Heating, Cooling, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Automatic Control Installation Technical Specifications,” with participation from high level representatives of the sector. Touching on in importance of the Specifications document prepared with the broad participation of the sector and accepted by the sector, Council members drew up a roadmap regarding subject. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Aegean Gas Corporation Chairman İbrahim Akbal was elected to the Turkey Natural Gas Council Presidency, while the Natural Gas Distributors Union Association (GAZBİR) Board Chairman Yaşar Arslan was elected Council Vice President. Reaffirming confidence, Council President expressed his pleasure in having opportunity to undertake greater works together in the new term.​

The number of newly established companies, the number of sole proprietorships and the number of cooperatives decreased by 26,34% , 25,96% and 14,42% respectively according to the previous month.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Vice President Ali Kopuz attended the, Oil Seed Plants and Oils Conference held in Istanbul with Agriculture and Forestry Minister Dr. Bekir Pakdemirli as guest of honor.​

Turkey Packaging Council convened under TOBB Board Member Engin Yeşil and Council Speaker Mustafa Tacir with the participation of council members to discuss current issues in the sector in the new term. ​

Established between the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB and the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce, “Turkey-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum” Turkish Party Co-President and TOBB Board Member M. Cihat Lokmanoğlu and Turkish Cypriot party Co-Chairman of Alp Cengiz Alp met. TEPAV Executive Director Dr. Güven Sak had also participated in the meeting at TEPAV during which the work carried out under the Turkey-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum 2019-2020 Action Plan was discussed. ​

TOBB Board Member Treasurer Faik Yavuz attended the 2nd International Geographically Marked Products Summit organized by Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO). The summit began with the speeches of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's wife Emine Erdoğan, Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank and ATO President Gürsel Baran. ​

Industry and Technology Strategy was announced by Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank at the meeting attended by TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç. Industry and Technology Strategy Promotion Meeting was held with the participations of Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Çetin Ali Dönmez, Mehmet Fatih Kacır, President of the Turkish Patent and Trademark Institution Habip Asan, President of the Presidency Defense Industry İsmail Demir, President of KOSGEB Cevahir Uzkurt, Governor of Ankara Vasip Şahin and TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç as well as industrialists and business representatives at the MKE Industry and Technology Museum. ​

Customs and Tourism Enterprises Co. Inc. Board of Directors Chairman Arif Parmaksız attended the opening ceremony the 8th Tokat Agriculture Livestock Food Fair and Regional Products Fair organized by the Tokat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) and in which 80 companies participated.​
