Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

TOBB Board Member Salih Zeki Murzioğlu attended the reception held at the residence of the Czech Embassy. Murzioğlu, who met with representatives of the Czech Republic, Georgia and other countries, expressed that the Czech Republic has significant investors in energy and that the region is open to such investments.​

474 fairs will be organized in Turkey in 2018. The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) has approved 474 fairs to be held in the coming year, 123 of which will be international.​

The Venture Capital İzmir Meeting was held at the İzmir Hilton on September 20th by the Turkey Venture Capital Council which operates as a part of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), with the support of TR Presidential Economic Monitoring and Coordination Directorate. The event was hosted by Izmir Chamber of Commerce, Aegean Region Chamber of Industry and İzmir Commodity Exchange.​

Turkey-Qatar Agricultural Business Forum was held at TOBB Twin the Towers with the participation of of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Minister Ahmet Eşref Fakıbaba, Qatar Municipalities and Environment Minister Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi, TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz and TOBB Board Member Yahya Toplu.​

3,459 capacity reports were approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey in August.​

TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz attended the “Sustainable Livestock Panel” organized by the Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO).​

The TOBB Arbitration Council met on 20.09.2017 at the Union Center. At the meeting, the issues on the agenda of the Council were discussed.​

TOBB Turkey Energy Council met with the participation of EPDK President Mustafa Yılmaz.​

Mardin Provincial and District Chambers / Stock exchanges gathered at the Mardin “Dicle (TRC3) Region Geographical Signs Project” Meeting with various organizations. The meeting was held at the Dicle Development Agency Headquarters.​

42,363 people visited the SME Information Site in August 2017. The number of visitors to the site from July 2016 to August 2017 (1 year) was 559,560.​
