TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and his delegation are in Jordan's capital, Amman, on the Jordan Chamber of Commerce’s invitation.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the Secretary General of the German Union of Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) Martin Wansleben over a business luncheon. Wansleben is visiting Turkey for high-level contacts.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Konya entrepreneurs have turned the Konya breadbasket into a center of modern agriculture and seed production as well as one of Turkey's biggest commerce cities.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received Mersin Chamber of Maritime Trade Chair Cihat Lokmanoğlu and the board members accompanying him. ​

The opening ceremony of the GS1 Turkey Foundation Office was held with the participation of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. Hisarcıklıoğlu, cutting the opening ribbon, extended his well wishes and toured the office.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Ulfat Kadirov, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Ankara, and exchanged views on cooperation between TOBB and Uzbekistan.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the luncheon held in honor of Ethiopian President Mulatu Teshome Wirtu by President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.​

The Turkish Economy Forum was hosted by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu with the participation of the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım and relevant economy ministers. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We have to tighten the ranks inside while the outside gets worse. The fire of reform will shine and the ratings companies which disparaged us will be ashamed.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that interest in the mediation system has increased, and reported that close to 3,000 disputes were resolved in January. Hisarcıklıoğlu, urging employers and workers to utilize mediation before the brining issues to court which will result in much faster resolutions.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu issued a statement regarding tax reductions.​
