Speaking at Industry Night Event 2017 meeting organised by Kayseri Chamber of Industry (KAYSO) TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu revealed the recipe for success as shared wisdom and acting in unison. Hisarcıklıoğlu highlighted that the figures for economic growth are pleasing and promising.​

Speaking at Council Meeting of Trade and Industry Chambers TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stating that this Turkey displayed a better performance than expected, said "Despite all the internal and external obstacles that we had face, Turkey’s economy and our real sector are solid and dynamic." Hisarcıklıoğlu indicating that finance burden of the companies also increased, also said that he had confidence in support for such matters shall be provided.​

The opening ceremony for TOBB Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Şırnak build by TOBB held by the attendance of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Minister of Environment and Urbanisation Mehmet Özhaseki and Governor of Şırnak Mehmet Aktaş.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu along with Minister of Environment and Urban Planning Mehmet Özhaseki inaugurated Cizre Divan Hotel.​

Speaking at TOBB Chamber of Commerce Council meeting TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said “We should not crow over the positive outcomes that we achieved in 2017, we should pay sufficient attention to the risks. But at the same time we should not overlook the opportunities. In 2018 global growth and trade looks like to be better than this year. Accordingly we must take our share of this. We must maintain incentives for employment, production and trade. Working hand in hand public and private sectors, we can make high growth pace permanent.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu reacted to “EU shall breakdown the talks with Turkey and shall be seeking for allies for that” statement within newly formed Austria government’s programme.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu had a meeting in İstanbul with Developing 8 Secretary General Seyed Ali Mohammed Mousavi whose duty term ended.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu has been rewarded with “Value Contributor for Ankara Award” at the Award Ceremony for Value Contributors for Ankara which took place within 3rd Ankara Brand Festival organised by Ankara Chamber of Commerce.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu welcomed Günhan Ulusoy President of Turkish Flour Industrialists’ Federation together with accompanying Executive Board Members. ​
