Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The late mother of Customs and Trade Minister Bülent Tüfenkci, Ayşe Tüfenkci, was interred in Malatya.​

After four years, the Turkish-Egyptian Business Forum was organized in Egypt's capital, Cairo. Attending the forum were the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce Ahmed el-Vekil.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu is visiting Cairo, accompanied by a delegation, on the invitation of Ahmet Al Wakil, President of the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.​

As a part of the Accreditation System work carried out by TOBB since 2001, the number of accredited chambers / commodity exchange has reached 250. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the goal is make sure all 365 chambers / commodity exchanges become accredited with 24 chambers / exchanges gained accreditation, while 52 accreditation documents were also renewed. Accreditation procedures for 28 new chambers / exchanges have begun.​

The celebration program organized for the World Customs Day was held at TOBB Twin Towers with the participation of Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım and Customs and Trade Minister Bülent Tüfenkci, hosted by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, speaking at the awards ceremony of Turkey 100 competition which determines the fastest growing companies, said, “We want to draw attention to the success of the fastest growing companies in our country and strengthen their global connections.”​

Minister of State Responsible for the Foreign Trade Policy of the UK Lord Price participated in a workshop hosted by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Iğdır Governor Ahmet Turgay Alpman, Iğdır Parliamentary Representative Nurettin Aras and Iğdır Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Kamil Arslan.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received the Siirt Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Güven Kuzu and the delegation accompanying him at his offices.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the program launch of Attraction Centers at the Çankaya Mansion.​
