TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated in his condolatory message for the Chief Editor of Yeni Akit Gazette Hasan Karakaya who lost his life in Medina, stating that the Turkish press has lost one of its prominent writers.​

In a condolatory message regarding the passing of a former Deputy Prime Minister, Ekrem Pakdemirli, who also served as Minister of Transportation, Treasury, Customs and State, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Pakdemirli is a big name in Turkish politics, “Mr. Ekrem Pakdemirli leaves behind a name and many services which will not be forgotten. We grieve deeply for his loss.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “I urge all residents of Bilecik: Raise your daughters as entrepreneurs. I look at this hall and see not nearly enough women entrepreneurs. Please raise your daughters as entrepreneurs.”​

In Bilecik for the Stars of Bilecik Awards Ceremony, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Bilecik Governor Ahmet Hamdi Nayir and Bilecik Municipality Director Selim Yağcı at their offices.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Bozüyük Chamber of Commerce and Industry.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Eskişehir Commodity Exchange and met with Eskişehir Commodity Exchange Chair Ömer Zeydan and council members.​

Organized by the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce, Chamber of Industry and Commodity Exchange, the Eskişehir Economy Convention was held with the attendance of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Governor of Eskişehir, Güngör Azim Tuna at his office.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the newly elected chairpersons of sector councils. Also present at the meeting were TOBB Board Members Necdet Özer and Salih Zeki Murzioğlu.​

Attending the Trabzon 2015 Stars of the Economy Plaque Ceremony, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that they have the highest rate of employment among OECD countries and stated that the burden of the minimum wage can’t be solely put on the shoulders of the private sector. Hisarcıklıoğlu, at the meeting attended by the Labor and Social Security Minister Süleyman Soylu, said, “We only want to be able to compete on equal footing with our global competitors. Don’t put the whole weight on us; let’s divide the burden half and half. Otherwise, there won’t be anyone to make investments next year.”​
