Kosovo Chamber of Commerce visits TOBB

Kosovo Chamber of Commerce Chairman Safet Gerxhaliu and members of the Board accompanying him visited TOBB. During the business luncheon hosted by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu also present in addition to the visiting delegation were TOBB Board Member Hakan Ülken, Turkey’s Ambassador to Kosovo Avni Sipahiu, former Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Kutbettin Arzu, GTİ Co. Inc. Board Chairman Arif Parmaksız, TOBB ETU Hospital Board Chair Şadan Eren, Kosovo Honorary Consul Alihan Karacan and Turkish private sector representatives with investments in Kosovo.​

Speaking at the 12th Term Accredited Certification Ceremony, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Turkey's biggest wealth is entrepreneurial traders and industrialists, and that with the ceremony, 26 Chambers and Commodity Exchanges have been rated for 5 stars.​

Hisarcıklıoğlu's calls on private sector to “provide at least a single additional job”

In a press statement to the Anadolu Agency, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) said that as a part of the employment mobilization initiated by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, “Inshallah, this employment mobilization will succeed with the support of our government,” calling on private sector representatives to provide at least a single additional job for Turkey's future.​

TOBB prepares to turn SMEs into exporters

TOBB kicks off “Intelligence in Foreign Trade” training to make non-exporting SMEs into exporters. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they want to raise awareness and encourage SMEs towards foreign trade, “The government produces very comprehensive incentives for investment and export. We will motivate our companies who want to export their goods across borders with information regarding foreign target markets, customers, and various countries’ legislations.”​

Turkish business world looking for 'investment opportunity' in Jordan

The business delegation led by TOBB, met with Jordanian Prime Minister Al Mulki and Ministers of Finance, Water Affairs, Transport, Industry, Commerce and Economy, aiming to increase trade with Jordan. Attending the Turkey-Jordan Business Forum afterwards, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they wanted to increase investments in Jordan to 1 billion USD and to increasing their shares in water and infrastructure projects there.​
