Hisarcıklıoğlu reelected unanimously as the Vice President of EUROCHAMBRES

The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, has been reelected as the Vice President of EUROCHAMBRES by unanimous vote at the Haliç Congress Center during EUROCHAMBRES’ General Assembly while the German Chamber of Commerce Chairman Richard Weber was elected as the new president.​

EUROCHAMBRES-GCP 2014 Global Economic Report published

According to the 2014 Global Economic Report prepared by the European Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES) and the Global Chamber Platform (GCP), GCP members are of the opinion that growth for 2014 will not be as high as projected by the World Bank.​

“Holidays gain meaning through sharing and the spirit of solidarity”

Publishing a message regarding Eid al-Adha, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, emphasizing that holidays are days of joy and solidarity, said, “Love is found in environments of unity and solidarity; peace and prosperity is found in environments of love. What gives meaning to holidays is the feeling of helping each other and standing together.”​

ATC President Armitage visited TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu hosted the Turkish-American Council (ATC) Board President Richard L. Armitage and the delegation accompanying him. Ideas were exchanged during the meeting wherein the economic relations between the two countries were discussed.​

Iranian Ambassador Bikdeli visited Hisarcıklıoğlu

Iran’s Ambassador to Ankara, Alireza Bikdeli visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office. Expressing his conviction that the newly appointed Ambassador Alireza Bikdeli will contribute to the economic relations between Iran and Turkey, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu also stated that he is following the announcements of the newly elected Iranian President Rouhani closely.​

Hisarcıklıoğlu urges Kuwaiti investors to invest in Turkey

Kuwaiti National Assembly President Marzouq Al Ghanim and the delegation accompanying him visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office. During the meeting in which an exchange of ideas in regards to the development of economic cooperation between the two countries took place, the importance of the establishment of the Kuwaiti counterpart of the Turkish-Kuwaiti Business Council was emphasized.​

We must establish a level of economic relations with the USA as we have with the EU

The business delegation lead by the US Chamber of Commerce Vice Chairman Myran Brilliant attended a dinner hosted by the TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu as a part of their Turkey visit. In his speech, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The development of the economic relations between Turkey and the USA will benefit both countries greatly. Turkey’s financial transformation will benefit from it. Turkey’s 2023 vision will become even more meaningful.”​
