​If we want to prosper, we must increase the number of our entrepreneurs

​ During his speech at the opening of the Iğdır Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s new service building, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “If we want to prosper we must increase the number of our entrepreneurs, both on a city and a national basis. We must find employment for 750,000 people every year. There’s only one way to do that: To increase our entrepreneur numbers and provide employment.” ​

​Hisarcıklıoğlu called those complaining about the employment burden to the Ability’10 project

​ Attending the Business World Directors Award Ceremony held by the Yalova Commerce and Industry Chamber, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the solution for one of the most complained about subjects, that of the cost of employment and qualified personnel, Ability’10 is used the most extensively by foreign companies and urged all companies to take advantage of the UMEM Ability’10 Project which provides a savings of 18% on taxes. ​

​ The Turkey Insurance Reassurance and Retirement Companies Union (TSB) delegation visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. The delegation led by TSB President Recep Koçak exchanged ideas with Hisarcıklıoğlu regarding the issues effecting the insurance sector. ​

​We arranged the meeting of employers seeking qualified employees with the jobseekers

​ In his speech addressing the contributions of chambers to the business world during the award ceremony organized for businessmen adding value to Tekirdağ, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of TOBB, said the chambers were working actively in every area from sureties for loans to consulting services, from the provision of qualified employees to relief of companies of their burdens. ​

​Full support for İzmir’s EXPO 2020 candidacy from the business world

​ TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the Turkish business world supports İzmir’s EXPO 2020 candidacy and that they stand by İzmir. Hisarcıklıoğlu hosted a dinner in honor of the Bureau of International Expositions (BIE) delegation visiting Turkey to make assessments regarding İzmir’s EXPO 2020 candidacy. Attending the dinner were Transportation, Maritime Affairs and Communication Minister Binali Yıldırım and the Culture and Tourism Minister Ömer Çelik. ​

​We are deeply grieved by the loss of Tekin Akmansoy

​ TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that he is deeply grieved by the loss of one of theatre and cinema’s masters, Tekin Akmansoy and said, “We have lost one of our very beloved artists, loved in his role as the Kayseri businessman Nuri Kantar. We will always remember him with respect and longing.” ​
