B20 Turkey Chair and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated in his speech at the G20 Energy Minister Meeting held at the Tarabya Hotel with the attendance of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, that G20 countries should have a say in energy.​

A cooperation protocol has been signed between the Ministry of Forestry Water Affairs and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) which will be hosting the 12th United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification, Conference of the Parties (UNCCD COP12) to be held in Ankara between the 12th and 23rd of October.​

Briefing Seminars to be held by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey aimed at chamber and exchange council members will begin on October 2nd.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Turkey and the USA should cultivate a stronger alliance in order to overcome the violence sweeping through the Middle East.​

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity in fighting terrorism, “This homeland, this country, this flag belong to all of us. Together, we are Turkey.”​
