TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the British Ambassador Richard Moore at his office. The precautions which need to be taken in order to further develop economic and commercial relations between England and Turkey were discussed in detail.​

A joint declaration has been made regarding recent terror attacks by the institutions comprising the Turkey-EU JAC (Joint Arbitration Committee): the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK), Turkey Union of Agriculture Chambers (TZOB), Confederation of Turkish Workers’ Syndicates (TÜRK-İŞ), Confederation of Workers’ Rights Syndicates (HAK-İŞ), Confederation of Civil Servants’ Syndicates (MEMUR-SEN), Turkey KAMU-SEN and Confederation of Turkish Employer Syndicates (TİSK).​

In his press release in regards to the heinous attack which took place in Suruç County of Şanlıurfa, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they vehemently condemn all who threaten the lives of innocents.​

In his Eid al-Fitr message, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed his wishes that the joy of the holiday would persist in hearts, saying, "Those who best experience this joy those who please, help and embrace each other in brotherly love. I hope that the holiday brings all believers peace, prosperity and grace."​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the iftar hosted for the representatives of the NGOs by the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.​
