The new service building of the Hakkari Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HATSO) was opened with a ceremony attended by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Minister for Development Cevde Yılmaz, AKP Vice Chairman Hüseyin Çelik, TOBB Board Vice President Çetin Osman Budak, TOBB Presidential Council Member Faik Yavuz, Hakkari Governor Yakup Canpolat, Hakkari TSO Board President Servet Taş, Council President Nazım Demir and the presidents of the region’s chambers and exchanges.​

The foundation for the Hüseyin Çelik Anatolia Religious Vocational High School which will take on 320 students to be built by TOBB in Hakkari were laid during a ceremony attended by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Minister for Development Cevdet Yılmaz and AKP Vice Chairman Hüseyin Çelik.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Minister for Development Cevdet Yılmaz and AKP Vice Chairman Hüseyin Çelik visited the Hakkari Governor’s Office and met with the newly appointed Governor Yakup Canbolat.​

The protocol for the high school which will be built in Van by TOBB has been signed during a ceremony at the Van Chamber of Trade and Industry with the attendances of the Minister for Development Cevdet Yılmaz and TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the record attempt for the Guinness Book of Records’ “the world’s largest breakfast” in Van.​

Speaking at the 5th General Assembly of TİMFED, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed his optimism for the future of the construction and contracting sector despite current difficulties. Emphasizing that structural reforms need to be made one after the other in other to have the sector move forward, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The first step we must take is to define the standards of the construction contracting business which is of critical importance for Turkey. Today, we are talking about urbanization. We are renovating the subpar, aging superstructure. However, we still don’t know who can or cannot be a building materials supplier or what the standards of this profession are.​

Antakya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board of Directors Chairman Hikmet Çinçin and the delegation accompanying him visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Microsoft Turkey and toured their offices.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met Croatian Chamber of Economy Chairman Luka Burilovic. The meeting which took place at the TOBB İstanbul Headquarters, Hisarcıklıoğlu congratulated Burilovic on his new appointment. ​

USA’s Ambassador to Ankara, Francis Ricciardone visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu to bid him farewell as his term in Turkey is coming to an end.​
