Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

An online meeting was held with the participation of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Istanbul International Center for Private Sector and Development (IICPSD) representatives.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Agriculture Council Meeting was held via video conference with the participation of TOBB Board Member Özer Matlı in charge of the Council and with the intense interest of high-level representatives of the private sector and non-governmental organizations under the chairmanship of Council President Ülkü Karakuş.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Food Industry Council Meeting was held via video conference under the chairmanship of Council President Necdet Buzbaş with the participation of TOBB Board Member Özer Matlı.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Education Council Meeting was held with the participation of the Ministry of National Education General Directorate of Private Education Institutions Education Policies Department Head Vedat Kuşgözoğlu, Head of Schools Department Murat İlci, General Directorate of Special Education and Guidance Services Education Policies Department Head Fikret Yılmaz and the private sector and non-governmental organizations under the chairmanship of Council President Dr. Yusuf Ekinci.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Plastic, Rubber and Composite Industry Council meeting was held in Ankara under the chairmanship of Council President Yavuz Eroğlu with the participation of TOBB Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu via video-conference.​

The Türkiye Cement and Cement Products Council, the Türkiye Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Council, the Türkiye Climatization Council, the Türkiye Chemical Industry Council, the Türkiye Mining Council, the Türkiye Ceramics and Refractory Industry Council and the Türkiye Soil Industry Products Council, which include construction materials manufacturers, convened on 23-24 February 2023 to consult on the efforts that have been done and can be done for earthquake regions. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Glassware Council Meeting was held via video conference with the participation of TOBB Vice President Ali Kopuz, who is responsible for the Council, with the intense interest of high-level representatives of the private sector and non-governmental organizations under the Presidentship of Council Speaker Murat Kolbaşı.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Fairs Committee convened under the chairmanship of TOBB Vice President Salih Zeki Murzioğlu. ​

The number of newly established companies, the number of cooperatives and the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 5,3% 3,5% and 29,7% respectively according to the previous month.​
