Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) International Transit Document Directorate visited the İpsala, Hamzabeyli and Kapıkule transit document distribution offices of the Edirne Commodity Exchange on December 31st, 2022 and January 1st, 2023 within the scope of the annual transfer and use of new documents of the newly opened Transition Documents every year.​

The Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA) Finance Committee Meeting was held online. The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu is also the ICCIA Vice President. At the meeting attended by Mustafa Bayburtlu, Head of EU and Foreign Relations Department on behalf of TOBB, the ICCIA 2023 budget was accepted to be presented to the Board of Directors. ​

The “1 Million Employment Project” Public Information Program, initiated under the Ministry of Treasury and Finance and in which the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) is a stakeholder, was held at the Beştepe Nation Congress and Culture Center.​

Türkiye-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum, Business Dinner in Honor of the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ersin Tatar was held at TOBB Twin Towers.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Beverage Industry Council held a consultation meeting under the chairmanship of Council President Ozan Diren with the participation of TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay.​

A cooperation protocol was signed between the Ministry of Treasury and Finance and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye in order to expand the employment opportunities of qualified labor force in the field of Information Technologies.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing Council Meeting was held at the Ankara Union Center under the chairmanship of Council President Kutlu Karavelioğlu with the participation of TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Pharmaceutical Industry Council held its last meeting of the year in İstanbul under the chairmanship of Council President Nezih Barut.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Patent and Trademark Attorneys Council held its last meeting of the year. At the meeting, the Council made an assessment of 2022 in terms of the sector.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Glassware Council meeting was held in Ankara with the participation of sector representatives under the chairmanship of TOBB Vice President Ali Kopuz and Council President Murat Kolbaşı.​
