TOBB Board of Directors Members Oğuzhan A. Sadıkoğlu and Zeki Kıvanç, Turkish Software Council President Ertan Barut and Chamber Presidents from various provinces also attended the meeting. Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati said, “We have reached the number of participants we targeted in the 1 Million Employment Project. From now on, we will use our energy to increase the number of our qualified software developers day by day.”

In his opening speech, President Erdoğan stated that 1,096,566 people have completed their education today in the Project initiated in 2020 with the aim of increasing the qualified labor force.

Erdoğan also said; “In addition to our 5 different Ministries, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), representing the private sector, has also participated in the 1 Million Software Developers Employment Project initiated within the Ministry of Treasury and Finance as a stakeholder. Our Union mediates in bringing employers from the sectors that will provide assistant and software developer employment together with our young people registered in the project,” he said, emphasizing that TOBB is among the project stakeholders.
