TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş thanked the members for their participation and the diligent work of the Council and shared his hope that the meeting would be instrumental in fruitful and beneficial results for the sector.

At the meeting, where President Kutlu Karavelioğlu made a general assessment of sectoral developments, the decisions taken in the previous meeting were reviewed and road maps for the Council work and the sector were determined.

Mehtap Önal, Branch Manager of the Central Anatolian Exporters' Associations Machinery Exporters' Association, gave information about the foreign trade figures of the machinery and equipment manufacturing sector in 2021 and the first 11 months of 2022.

Council Advisor Zühtü Bakır explained the developments in the sector's basic indicators for the first 11 months of 2022 and made an assessment about the work of the Legislation and Leasing Committees.

A presentation was made by Tunç İşcan about the programs and public supports for the replacement of inefficient Electric Motors with IE3 and IE4 efficient classes.

Ömür Demir Kızılarslan informed about the importance of cooperation between the Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing and Software sectors for sustainability-oriented competitiveness increase.

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Köksal, President of the Court of Arbitration of the German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry, gave information about the German Supply Chain Law and its possible reflections on the sector.
