Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Patent and Trademark Attorneys Council held its last meeting of the year. At the meeting, the Council made an assessment of 2022 in terms of the sector.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Glassware Council meeting was held in Ankara with the participation of sector representatives under the chairmanship of TOBB Vice President Ali Kopuz and Council President Murat Kolbaşı.​

TOBB Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu attended the Zero Waste Summit and Award Ceremony. The Zero Waste Summit and Award Ceremony, which was held for the third time this year, was held at the Haliç Congress Center in Istanbul with the participation of Murat Kurum, the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, and Emine Erdoğan, the wife of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.​

The 1st Trade Registry Applications Symposium, organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Trade and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) within the scope of the Project on Ensuring the Unity of Practice of Trade Registry Directorates and Increasing Service Quality, was held on December 24, 2022 at the TOBB Conference Hall.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development and Support Administration (KOSGEB) prepared in cooperation with the “Small and Medium Enterprises Statistics Bulletin,” containing SME data for 2021 has been published.​

“Advertising Sector in the World and in Türkiye Panel,” was held at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Twin Towers in Ankara. TOBB Board Member Ömer Zeydan said in his speech at the opening of the panel that creative industries are becoming more popular day by day.​

During the first eleven months of the year 2022 the number of newly established Companies and the number of cooperatives increased by 25,3% and 35,1% while the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 3,5% with respect to the same period of the year 2021.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Turkish Natural Gas Council held its last meeting of 2022 under the chairmanship of Council President İbrahim Akbal.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Automotive Trade Council meeting was held at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of Council President Yüksel Mermer with the participation of TOBB Board Member Mahmut Özgener in charge of the Council.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Automotive Supply Industry Council meeting was held via video conference under the chairmanship of Council President Alper Kanca with the participation of TOBB Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu.​
