Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Road Passenger Transport Council convened under the chairmanship of TOBB Vice President Tamer Kıran and Council President Mustafa Yıldırım, with the participation of Metin Karaman, Vice President of the Vocational Qualifications Authority (VQA), Kerim Cicioğlu, Head of Road Transport Department of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, and Ali Rıza Çelik, Head of Road Transport Training and Certification Department of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, in İstanbul to evaluate the issues of the sector.​

On behalf of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), TOBB EU and Foreign Relations Department Head Mustafa Bayburtlu attended the European Public Law Chambers (EPLC) High Level Group Meeting held online. During the meeting, discussions were held on current developments in the European Public Law Chambers against the current crises. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Education Council Meeting was held at the Ankara Union Center with the participation of TOBB Vice President Selçuk Öztürk, who is responsible for the Council, and Vedat Kuşgözoğlu, Head of the Education Policies Department of the General Directorate of Private Education Institutions of the Ministry of National Education, and with the intense interest of high-level representatives of the private sector and non-governmental organizations under the chairmanship of Council President Dr. Yusuf Ekinci.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Board of Directors Treasurer Faik Yavuz met with Alexander Bankov, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. During the meeting held at TOBB Twin Towers, cooperation opportunities were discussed. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Pharmaceutical Industry Council and Social Security Institution (SSI) General Directorate of General Health Insurance Evaluation Meeting was held at TOBB İstanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of Council President Nezih Barut.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Twin Towers were illuminated with orange color representing the fight against violence against women as part of the “25 November International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women” determined by the United Nations on December 17, 1999.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Vice President Ali Kopuz attended the 31st Term General Assembly of the Press Announcement Authority held in Afyonkarahisar.​

The Extraordinary Management Center of the Natural Disaster Insurance Institution (DASK) was opened yesterday in Ankara with the participation of Treasury and Finance Minister Nurettin Nebati.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) International Health Tourism Council was the guest of the International Health Services Joint Stock Company (USHAŞ) General Manager Murat Mercan.​

TOBB Türkiye Packaging Council visited Deputy Minister of Trade Rıza Tuna Turagay at his office to consult on the prevention of unfair competition in imports related to the corrugated board sector. Council President Speaker Mustafa Tacir, Council Vice President M. Nuri Görenoğlu and representatives of the relevant sector took part in the meeting.​​
