Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Conference on Private Education Institutions in the 100th Anniversary of the Republic was held at the TOBB Twin Towers under the coordination of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Education Council.​

The Draft Regulation on Waste Management Responsible Companies Consultation Meeting was held in Ankara on January 10th in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.​

TOBB Vice President Tamer Kıran attended the working lunch hosted by Trade Minister Dr. Mehmet Muş with the participation of the delegation headed by Djibouti Trade and Tourism Minister Mohamed Warsama Dirieh.​

The first Supreme Council Meeting of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council of 2023 was held online with the participation of TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay, TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council President Nurten Öztürk and the members of the Supreme Council.​

The 85th event of TOBB Türkiye Technology Meetings, which was held under the auspices of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and in cooperation with E-commerce Center Co. Inc. and the Women in Technology Association (Wtech), was held on January 5, 2023 in Edirne.​

According to the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35) prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in accordance with Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118, 1750 Domestic Goods Certificates were approved by TOBB in December 2022.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Mining Council meeting was held with the participation of Veysel Tiryaki, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Şaban A. Karamehmetoğlu and Council President İbrahim Halil Kırşan.​

With the cooperation protocol signed between the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and Educational Testing Service Global B.V (ETS GLOBAL B.V), the foreign language measurement and evaluation tools of the institutions and private sector enterprises in TOBB will be at universal standards.​

Within the scope of the Ensuring the Unity of Implementation of Trade Registry Directorates and Increasing the Quality of Service Project carried out in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the Ministry of Commerce General Directorate of Internal Trade, the joint meeting of the sub-workgroups established for the Implementation Handbook module was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Ahmet Can Balak, Deputy General Director of Internal Trade.​

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in December 2022 increased by 8.5% (393 units) compared to November 2022 (4,646 units) and reached 5,039 units.​
