The number of capacity reports approved in 2022 (55,101 units) increased by 5.3% (2,793 units) compared to 2021 (52,308).

Of the 5,039 capacity report approved in December; 1,211 were in İstanbul, 344 in Ankara, 343 in İzmir, 306 in Bursa, 221 in Konya, 220 in Kocaeli, 206 in Gaziantep, 136 in Adana, 120 in Antalya and 106 in Manisa.

While the total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industrial Database was 85,460 in December 2021, it reached 95,772 units in December 2022 with an increase of 12.1% (10,312 units).

According to the Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 8.6% (305,683 units) from 3,565,072 in December 2021 to 3,870,755 in December 2022.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
