Türkiye Technology Meetings 85th event in Edirne

The 85th event of TOBB Türkiye Technology Meetings, which was held under the auspices of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and in cooperation with E-commerce Center Co. Inc. and the Women in Technology Association (Wtech), was held on January 5, 2023 in Edirne.
In the program, opening speeches were made by TOBB Board Member and Tekirdağ Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Cengiz Günay, Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry President H. Sezai Irmak and Trakya Development Agency Secretary General Mahmut Şahin.
Within the scope of the event, following the informative speech of E-Commerce Center CEO Merter Özdemir, panels were held under the titles of “The Shrinking World with E-Export,” “The Future of Retail in the Fijital World,” and “The Growing World with E-Commerce.” In addition, a presentation on “The State's Perspective on Exports” was made by Hasan Önal, Head of the Department of Cross-Border E-Commerce and New Generation Technologies, Ministry of Trade.
At the event, where Türkiye's leading sector representatives shared information and experience with SMEs, the demands and questions of university students and SMEs were discussed.
