TOBB Board of Directors Member Özer Matlı stated that he was in great sorrow due to the earthquake that affected Kahramanmaraş and 11 provinces on February 6, 2023 and expressed his condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in the earthquake in this disaster that suffocated the whole country in grief and wished urgent healing to the injured. Matlı stated that they discussed the new steps that need to be taken urgently and that the state and the nation will overcome this great disaster hand in hand.

Council President Necdet BuzbaÅŸ stated that the cities where the earthquake occurred are important for agriculture and animal husbandry and that the determination should be made. 

In addition, BuzbaÅŸ stated that food flow should be actively provided in earthquake regions and that the existence of these enterprises is also under threat if the damages suffered by the crop production and livestock sector in the region are not urgently eliminated.

The meeting ended with the Council Members conveying their sectoral views and suggestions.
