Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

According to the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35) prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in accordance with Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118, 1,597 Domestic Goods Certificates were approved by TOBB in January 2023.​

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in January 2023 increased by 11.7% (542 units) compared to January 2022 (4,620 units) and reached 5,162 units.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) TIR Committee organized via video conference.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Waste and Recycling Industry Council convened with the participation of TOBB Board Member S. Selim Kandemir and sector representatives under the chairmanship of Council President Ali Kantur.​

A delegation consisting of TOBB Türkiye Mining Council, TOBB Türkiye Casting Industry Council and TOBB Türkiye Cement and Cement Products Council members visited Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Veysel Tiryaki.​

The Informal Board Meeting of the Union of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES), of which the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu is the Vice President, was held online. ​

Within the scope of the Chamber/Commodity Exchange Accreditation System efforts, the completely renewed accreditation standard was explained to the Secretaries General and Accreditation Officers of the Class A accredited Chambers. At the same time, information was given about the new corporate identity efforts of the Accreditation System. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) announced the fair statistics for 2022. In 2022, a total of 413 fairs were organized in Türkiye.​

Faik Yavuz, Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye, met with Ana Teresita Gonzalez, Deputy First Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment of Cuba.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Board of Directors Treasurer Faik Yavuz met with Moldovan Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu and the accompanying delegation at a working lunch. The Moldova- Türkiye Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Chairman Fiodor Gagauz and Moldovan Ambassador to Ankara Dmitri Croitor also took part in the dinner.​
