2023 Ordinary General Assembly of TMO-TOBB Agricultural Products Licensed Warehousing Industry and Trade Inc., Türkiye's first licensed warehouse company established to set an example for the private sector under the Agricultural Products Licensed Warehousing Law No. 5300, was held at TOBB Social Facilities.​

The 13th World Chambers Congress, which is held every two years by the World Confederation of Chambers operating under the umbrella of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), was held in Geneva, Switzerland on June 21-23, 2023.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) took action to increase qualified human resources in the e-commerce sector. Under the coordination of TOBB, 500 people will receive e-commerce training in 1 year with the cooperation and contributions of Trendyol, Yemeksepeti, Amazon Türkiye, Ideasoft, Ticimax, Hipotenüs, Askon Design Center and TOBB ETÜ SEM. The project will start in July.​

Within the scope of the Chamber / Exchange Accreditation System efforts, New Accreditation Standard Training was organized on 19-20 June 2023 for the 3rd - 8th - 11th -14th Term Accredited Chambers / Exchanges. In the training, the substance expectations were explained within the scope of the new accreditation standard basic competencies - basic services - new generation services, and simultaneously, the Chambers and Exchanges were divided into different groups and informed about MEYBEM activities and TÜRİB activities. ​

The Procurement and Supplier Development Webinar for BETEK Boya and BASF Türk Chemicals was held online with the participation of TEDAR and the officials of the relevant companies.​

On the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the establishment of the D-8 Economic Cooperation Organization, the Ambassadors of the D-8 member countries serving in Ankara, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, civil society organizations, regional and international organizations with which the D-8 Organization cooperates, and representatives of regional and international organizations came together for a working dinner in Ankara, hosted by Ambassador Ismail Yusuf Abba, Ambassador of Nigeria to Ankara and Ambassador Isiaka Abdulkadir Imam, D-8 Secretary General.​

Ata Turhan, who graduated from TOBB ETU this year as the valedictorian of the university, made history as Türkiye's first artificial intelligence engineer. Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Turhan said, “We are rapidly preparing to develop artificial intelligence technology that will dominate the world.”​

The Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Committee of the European Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES) met at TOBB Brussels Office on June 14th. The meeting was chaired by Mustafa Bayburtlu, Head of EU and Foreign Affairs Department, on behalf of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Medical Council Meeting was held in Ankara under the chairmanship of Cengiz Delibaş, Deputy Secretary General of TOBB, Dr. Asım Hocaoğlu, President of the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK), Dr. Mehmet Hakan Fırat, Vice President of TİTCK, Fatih Topuz, Head of the Department of Medical Device Notified Body and Clinical Trials at TİTCK, Ömer Faruk Kuru, Head of Medical Device Registration and Coordination Department of TİTCK, Servet Sarıhan, Head of Medical Device Sectoral Services Department of TİTCK, Yücel Dener, Head of Medical Device Inspection Department of TİTCK, and Levent Mete Özgürbüz, President of the Council, with the participation of representatives from the public, non-governmental organizations and the private sector.​

Seyit Ardıç, Member of the Board of Directors representing the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the “Exiting Coal in Germany: Learning from the German Experience” meeting organized by the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Türkiye (TEPAV) was attended by Seyit Ardıç, Member of the Board of Directors representing the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB). Ardıç said that the most important element of green transformation and carbon reduction is the “source of energy” and that the experience of countries such as Germany on coal phase-out will make a great contribution while preparing a road map on fossil resources.​
