Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The meeting on ‘Evaluation of Wooden Structures in Post-Earthquake Construction’ was held by TOBB Forest Products Council on March 20 at the TOBB İstanbul Service Building.​

During the first two months of the year 2023 the number of newly established Companies and the number of cooperatives increased by 11,6% and 63,0% while the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 3,2% with respect to the same period of the year 2022.​

The Mirror Committee on Electrically Powered Vehicles, which was established to follow the International Standardization studies in the field of electric vehicles, held its first meeting online with the participation of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye, the Turkish Standards Institute and Mirror Committee members.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Retail Council Meeting was held via video conference with the participation of TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay and TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş and with the intense interest of high-level representatives of the private sector and non-governmental organizations under the chairmanship of Council President Alp Önder Özpamukçu.​

The Budget Committee of the Union of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES) met in Stockholm. Representing TOBB, the Head of the Department of European Union and Foreign Relations Mustafa Bayburtlu attended the meeting. ​

The 2nd Year Event of the Million Women Mentor Program was held online in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, STEMconnector and TurkishWIN.​

Training, information and consultation meetings were held on March 20-21 for the distribution office personnel affiliated to the Chambers and Commodity Exchanges authorized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).​

Within the scope of the Chamber/Commodity Exchange Accreditation System studies, Strategic Planning/Business Plans Risk Management Training was held at TOBB on 20-21 March 2023 for the 14th term accredited Chambers/Commodity Exchanges and the 15th and 16th period Chambers/Commodity Exchanges whose process still underway.​

Process and Risk Management Training was held at TOBB on 16-17 March 2023 for 3rd, 8th and 11th Term A and B Class Accredited Chambers/Exchanges within the scope of Chamber/Commodity Exchange Accreditation System efforts.​
