EUROCHAMBRES enlargement and neighborhood policy committee meeting held at TOBB Brussels Office

The Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Committee of the European Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES) met at TOBB Brussels Office on June 14th. The meeting was chaired by Mustafa Bayburtlu, Head of EU and Foreign Affairs Department, on behalf of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.
The opening speech was delivered by Mr. Giorgi Pertaia, President of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Bernardt Brunet, Director of the Türkiye Unit of the Directorate General for Enlargement, Mateja Munda, Policy Assistant of the EU Task Force Unit for Ukraine and Ursula Hoenich, Expert of the Directorate General for Migration and Home Affairs from the European Commission attended the meeting as speakers. During the meeting, the visa problem of the business world in Türkiye and the issues of updating the Customs Union were brought to the attention of the Commission officials.
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu is Vice-President of EUROCHAMBRES and Chairman of the Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Committee.
