Appointed as Ambassador to Rome, former Ministry of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Murat Salim Esenli paid a parting visit to TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. ​

Appointed Turkish Permanent Representative to Geneva, former Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Ali Naci Koru made a parting visit to TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with İskenderun Technical University (İSTE) Rector Prof. Dr. Türkay Dereli and the university senate members accompanying him.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Ankara İşanguli Hocamuhammedoviç Amanliyev during a business luncheon, briefing him in regards to the activities of TOBB.​

TOBB President and EUROCHAMBRES Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the EUROCHAMBRES General Assembly held in Brussels.​

TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the European Council of Enterprises and said, “Even though Turkey is not a member of the European Union, Turkish enterprises are very much a part of the EU.”​

In his address during the biannual EUROCHAMBRES meeting with European Parliament of Enterprises, TOBB President and EUROCHAMBRES Vıce President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu asked what the European Commission would do to better integrate Turkey into the EU’s trade policy. Attending the event were 10 enterprises from Turkey organized by TOBB.​

TOBB president and EUROCHAMBRES Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) TRNC Chamber of Commerce Chair Fikri Toros in Brussels, Belgium.​

TOBB president and EUROCHAMBRES Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the investment meeting held at the Serbian Embassy in Brussels as a part of his Brussels visit.​

In his address at the “Developing Competitiveness of SMEs in Turkey and the Western Balkans” Conference held by TOBB and EUROCHAMBRES in Brussels, TOBB President and EUROCHAMBRES Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the importance of SMEs in establishing peace and prosperity in a country.​
