Attended by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, the final declaration for the 9th Meeting of the Investment Advisory Council for Turkey held under the auspices of the Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım stated, “We have observed discrepancies between the perceived and actual conditions of Turkey as an investment location. We advise that the government utilize better channels of communication with the international business community. The Investment Advisory Council for Turkey pledges to work with the government to amend this situation.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the 9th Meeting of the Investment Advisory Council for Turkey held under the auspices of the Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım at the Dolmabahçe Prime Ministry Office in İstanbul.​

The 7th Annual Regional Goods Expo (YÖREX) held in Antalya brought together regional goods from all over Turkey. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stressed the importance of branding and registered goods.​

The President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Customs and Commerce Minister Bülent Tüfenkci and the delegation accompanying them at the Presidential Complex.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik. ​

The first meeting of the e-commerce sector council founded under TOBB was held with the attendances of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and Customs and Commerce Minister Bülent Tüfenkci.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed great sadness in regards to the explosion which occurred in the Antalya CCI car park.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas during his official visit to Turkey.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Treasury Undersecretary Osman Çelik at his office. Hisarcıklıoğlu presented Çelik with a copy of the Book of Dede Korkut printed by TOBB. ​

Appointed as Ambassador to Rome, former Ministry of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Murat Salim Esenli paid a parting visit to TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. ​
