The roadmap for economic relations with the USA has been drawn

The memorandum of understanding which will provide the roadmap for the development of economic relations with the USA has been signed between TOBB and the USA Chamber of Commerce. In accordance with the agreement, meetings will be held where investment opportunities will be presented to the CEOs from four of the largest states of the USA. Bilateral commerce delegations will be formed, cooperation opportunities will be increased and the two countries will cooperate in third countries. A campaign to promote Turkey will be held in the USA.​ ​

“We haven’t been able to disperse the perception that Ankara is a city of bureaucracy”

Stating that they haven’t been able to disperse the perception that Ankara is a city of bureaucracy, the Union of Chamber and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We are keeping an eye out to see if the Central Bank or Ziraat bank will leave Ankara.”​ ​

Bosnia Herzegovina Visoko Municipality Director Babic visited TOBB

Bosnia Herzegovina Visoko Municipality Director Amra Babic, along with a delegation of Municipality Council members, visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. Achieving significant success at the October elections, Babic became the first woman with a headscarf to be elected as municipality director in Bosnia Herzegovina and Europe. She spoke to Hisarcıklıoğlu about Visoko and the investment opportunities in Visoko.​ ​

“Why can’t we see the records of someone we are selling goods to on credit?”

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, stating that banks have the right to view the financial records of companies, said, “They sell money; we sell goods. We shoulder labor and risk. Why can’t we see the records of the person we are selling goods to on credit? We want to see it, too. We have been promised that, by the end of this year, this will enter into effect.”​ ​

TOBB will construct a Anatolian High School Complex in Batman

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) will construct a 16 classroom Anatolian High School building, a 200 capacity Student Dorm as well as a Sports Gym. The protocol regarding the construction was signed between TOBB and the Batman Governorship, attended by the TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the Treasury Minister Mehmet Şimşek.​ ​
