Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Turkey Air-Conditioning Council convened in İstanbul with the participation of senior representatives of industry. During the meeting chaired by Council President Zeki Poyraz, it was announced that Turkey would be a partner country to the International Heating, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Insulation and Water Treatment Exhibition to be held in Milan on March 13th through 16th, 2020. ​

The number of newly established companies, cooperatives and the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 19,14% , 12,36% and 41,62% respectively according to the previous month.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş participating in the 2019 Employment Mobilization Meeting organized by the Kocaeli Chamber of Industry, spoke about the support and incentives relating to employment mobilization. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş participated in the Ankara Chamber of Industry (ASO) Professional Committees Joint Meeting held in Afyonkarahisar with the participation of Industry and Technology Deputy Minister Çetin Ali Dönmez and spoke about the Employment Mobilization related supports and incentives. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) delegation participated in the B20 Summit held on the 14th and 15th of March, 2019 in Japan's capital, Tokyo. A commemorative photo was taken during the closing session with the participation of delegation heads, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, the Prime Minister of Japan and the B20 Tokyo President. ​

Established by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), TOBB MEYBEM Vocational Qualification and Certification Centers have begun professional qualification examinations and certification services for ‘Immovable Trade Regulation’ and ‘Responsible Real Estate Consultant Level 5’ for which vocational qualification certificate have become mandatory as well as ‘Real Estate Consultant Level 4’. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz attended the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) General Assembly. The Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the Central Bank was held at the Bank's Administration Center Meeting Hall. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz attended the March 14th Medicine Day Medicine Ball organized by TOBB ETU. ​

As a part of the Chamber / Exchange Accreditation System efforts, Accreditation Training, hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), continued with “ISO 27001 Information Security Management System Training.”​

As a part of the ongoing Chamber / Exchange Accreditation System efforts, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) hosted the “Strategic Planning Training” on March 11th-12th. During the training, the strategic management process was explained with examples with regards to the expectations of the Accreditation Standard. ​
